GeoApe MTU (Tiit Hallas) built the GeoApe Tracker as a free-to-use app. This app and the sharing service is provided by GeoApe MTÜ at no cost and is intended for use as is.

General Principles
 1. Location tracking in the GeoApe Tracker is done only when user has started tracking. A corresponding notification will be shown in the App.
 2. Location data is being sent to GeoApe Backend service to enable sharing the track with others when user wishes to do so.
 3. When App is not in the tracking mode, no tracking or location sending is being done by the app.
 4. During tracking, no PII (Personally Identifiable Information) is collected about the mobile app user.
 5. Users' location is not shared with third parties without users' consent. 
 6. User can share the location data with others via public tracking id or a link to the tracking web page.
 7. Tracking data will be available until the user has deleted it from the app or after one year has passed since its creation.
 8. Track data will be removed after one year, after which the data will not be available.  
 9. No extra effort is being put into protecting the location data. Links are publicly accessible to everyone who know or can guess the link.
10. The collected location data is NOT shared with any third party services.
